What we’ll need from you
To get your website project started as quickly and smoothly as possible, there are a few things we’ll need from you, depending on your business these could include:
- Business Name
As you’d like it to appear on the website. - Business Information
Description of your business. This is just to get started so can be expanded upon later if you prefer. - Services
A list of the services you offer. I’ll request additional information as work progresses. - Location
The geographical location your business covers. - Images/Photos
High-quality images that represent your business. Past projects, services, your team, or even your van, tools or equipment. If you don’t have any photos available, we can use professional stock images that represent your work or profession. - Logo & Branding
If you have a logo and/or specific branding, we’ll need this to ensure the website reflects your business. If not, then any preferences you have re. colour or style. - Testimonials or Reviews
Any feedback or reviews from your previous clients. Either as text or links to where I can find them (Google, Facebook, Checkatrade etc.) - Contact Information
Your phone number, email address. Other ways you may prefer clients to reach you, such as social media or a contact form on the site. - Social Media Links
If you’re active on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn, share those links with us so we can include them on your site - Business Address (Optional)
If you have a physical location or office that you’d like details of on the website; otherwise we can just highlight the areas you serve. - Domain Name
You will need a domain name (e.g. yourbusiness.co.uk). If you haven’t already registered one, we can guide you through the process or handle it for you if you prefer. You could have a look at what’s available at 123reg - Existing Setups
If you already own a domain, where is it registered? If you’re using this domain for a website and/or email, who is your current hosting or email provider? This helps us ensure a smooth setup and avoid any disruptions to your existing services. It’s essential that you have access to your domain if you want to use it for your new website. If you’re unsure, check with your domain provider or the person who originally set it up.
We will, of course, follow up for addition information as required, but this information will allow us to put the initial structure together.

Hosting & Management
Website hosting is the service that makes your website accessible on the internet and where the files used to create your website are stored.
All website packages include at least 3 months of free hosting and maintenance. After the initial free period, our basic hosting and maintenance package is available for £70 per year. This includes secure, reliable hosting with regular maintenance and back ups to keep your website running smoothly and securely.
