Photographs for your website

Information on how to best supply the images you’d like used

High-quality images make your website look sharp, professional, and trustworthy. If we are using your own photographs, please don’t over crop, resize, or edit images before sending them.

We’ll handle formatting to ensure everything fits correctly and looks consistent across the site. To maintain this quality, we recommend sending the original files wherever possible. This ensures we have the maximum resolution and flexibility for your website layout.

How to Send Your Photos

You can send image files in any of the following ways:

  • Email attachment (as files, not embedded as photo in the email body)

  • WhatsApp Use HD Mode: Before pressing send, tap the “HD” button at the top right of the screen to select higher resolution.

  • WeTransfer Create a folder on your computer with all the images you want to send. Go to WeTransfer.com, select “Send a file,” and upload the folder.

  • Google Drive Either give us access (pippa@tanglefox.com) to a folder you’ve already created on your drive. Or upload your images directly to the folder we’ve set up HERE

Accepted formats: JPG, PNG, HEIC, WebP

Sending the files this way ensures we receive the highest quality images without compression or loss of detail.

What we can’t use

We can’t use images that are:

  • Screenshots

  • Too small or low resolution

  • Embedded inside Word documents or PDFs

  • Heavily cropped or resized before sending

Using these files can result in blurry or pixelated images on your website.

Images downloaded from social media platforms or other online profiles may already be compressed.

Recommended Image Sizes

If you’re unsure about image size, just send the originals. As a guide, minimum requirements are:

  • Full-width website images: 1800px–2500px wide

  • Standard content images: 1000px+ wide

  • Logos: Please send the original file if possible (AI, EPS, SVG, or high-resolution PNG). This ensures crisp display on your website.

We’ll handle cropping, resizing, and optimizing images appropriately for the site.
